Aston Martin will build a new factory in 2017

Aston Martin will open a new factory in 2017, which will undertake the construction of the DBX, that will go on sale in 2019. The company evaluates two possible locations in England and one in America to decide for were they will construct it.

Aston Martin will build a new factory in 2017

The decision will be made before Christmas, with Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin indicating that the company will remove 295 jobs as part of restructuring. The cuts will mainly affect administrative staff at the company’s headquarters in Gaydon, England.

Palmer said:

Our workforce has doubled since 2007, but we are manufacturing half  the cars.
