Audi officially announced the S1 and S1 Sportback which will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. Sales will commence in the second quarter with an initial price of € 29.950 for the S1 and € 30.800 for the S1 Sportback.
Stylistically the cars have aggressive bodykits with big bumpers, a new grille, side sills, a spoiler, matte gray caps on the exterior mirrors and quad tailpipes. They Feature xenon light fixtures at the front and LED at the rear, they stand on 17 inch wheels with tires measuring 215/40 (the additional equipment includes 18 inch wheels with tires measuring 225/35). They also have brakes with ventilated 310 mm front discs with red calipers, on which there is an S1 logo.
Inside there are sports seats, gray details and brushed aluminum pedals, while at the additional equipment,S sport seats with integrated headrests are available.
Both cars are equipped with a 2.0 liter TFSI engine producing 231 hp with 370 Nm of torque. The power is transferred to all four wheels, the allowing S1 to make the 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and the S1 Sportback in 5.9 seconds. Both have a top speed of 250 km/h.
