Bentley presented the Bentayga Diesel, that is equipped with the 4-liter V8 TDI diesel engine of the Audi SQ7 with double twin-scroll turbos and an electric e-booster turbo of 48V, producing 435 hp, with 900 Nm of torque.
It can do the 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, with its top speed reaching 270 km/h, making it the fastest diesel SUV in the world. The engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission of ZF, with the power passing on all wheels.
According to Bentley, the Bentayga Diesel consumes 7.3 liters/100 km, emitting 210 g/km of CO2. Sales of the car in Europe will begin in late 2016, with a starting price of £135,800 in England, £30,000 less than the Bentayga that is equipped with the 6-liter W12.
