Bentley will present in Los Angeles the Grand Convertible concept. This model is a foretaste of the next generation of the Azure and according to the company, is the “ultimate expression of a British luxury car” and it is “the most sophisticated convertible ever created by Bentley”.
The Grand Convertible concept, is essentially a cabrio Mulsanne. The design is familiar, just the number of doors has been reduced by two and the metal fixed roof has been replaced with a fabric one. The exterior is colored in Sequin Blue with the hood and cabinet windshield to be colored in “liquid metal”. The interior features plenty of leather and wood. The concept features an exceptional roof cover made of Burr Walnut which, as the company says is “the biggest piece of wood placed in Bentley”.
The car is equipped with a 6.75 liter V8 engine that produces 530 hp and 1.100 Nm of torque. Bentley has not released more details on the technical characteristics of the concept, but we will know more tomorrow.
