The X7 is part of BMW’s plan to offer to the market more luxurious models. It will differ from the X5 in design and it will be built at the American BMW plant in Spartanburg. The top version of the X7, will cost close to $100,000 in the US, but it will not share parts with the SUV of Rolls-Royce. Mechanically it is expected to be available with six-cylinder and eight-cylinder engines and also a V12 engine.
