After the presentation from BMW of the safety car for this season’s MotoGP, today they presented the corresponding safety car for the DTM championship.

The car is an M4, which has undergone the appropriate modifications with BMW M Performance Parts. These include a front splitter, mirrors caps, a rear spoiler and a diffuser from carbon, while changes are detected also on the black grille, the car has also new side skirts and titanium exhausts. The suspension is from KW, while security lights were installed on the roof.

Inside the M4 features Recaro seats, Schroth seatbelts, various arrangements of carbon, intercom and a roll cage.

Under the bonnet we find the standard six-cylinder in-line TwinPower Turbo 3-liter engine with 431 hp and 550 Nm of torque combined in this case with an M-DCT automatic transmission which help the car do the 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
