BMW released the first teaser photo of the Vision Car concept, a new prototype that will debut in early 2016 at CES. The Vision Car concept according to BMW will show us how the interior of their future cars will look like.
The concept will have a number of new technologies such as the AirTouch, a system that allows users to control the entertainment system, navigation and communication systems through gestures, in front of large touch screens without the need of touching them.
The AirTouch technology uses a series of sensors that monitor and record the movements of the hands, between the center console and the interior mirror. The AirTouch system is much more advanced than the Gesture Control available in the 7 Series and it will be able to allow three-dimensional gestures. According to BMW, the AirTouch system reduces the number of steps required to make a selection by the passenger.
