The BMW X2 will be presented at the Paris auto show

BMW will present in October at the Paris auto show, the pre-production prototype of the X2. The car will go on sale a year later, in the autumn of 2017 and essentially it will be the coupe version of the X1.

Seeing the spy photos that circulate online, we can distinguish that the car will have a sloping roofline, while it will be built on the front-wheel drive UKL platform, equipped with the same three-cylinder and four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines that are available for the X1.

The engines will be combined with manual and automatic gearboxes with the xDrive all-wheel drive system to be included on the additional equipment. On top of the range, there will be an M Performance version, while the car will also have plug-in hybrid version.
