Cadillac presented at the Los Angeles auto show the ATS-V Sedan and Coupe. The cars are described as a luxury car for dual-use. The cars feature an aggressive body kit, with large air intakes in the front bumper, carbon bonnet air intake, front splitter, side skirts, spoiler, quad exhaust tailpipes and 18 inch light alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires dimensions 255/35 275/35 front and back.
The interior features bucket Recaro leather seats, carbon decorations and a new dashboard. There are also two optional packages called Carbon Fiber and Track. The Carbon Fiber equips the car with a more aggressive front bumper with carbon details on the hood and a carbon diffuser. The Track Pack features the same things as the Carbon Fiber package, along with the Performance Data Recorder.
The ATS-V is equipped with a 3.6 liter V6 engine producing 461 hp with 603 Nm of torque, combined with either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or an 8-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel. Both models make the 0-96 km/h in 3.9 seconds and have a top speed of 297 km/h.
The framework of the car has become more rigid, the suspension has been improved, the brakes are from Brembo and there is an electronically controlled limited slip differential. Sales will begin in the spring of 2015 with prices announced at the same time.
