In 1984 BMW Motorsport presented the M5 E28, the car was equipped with a 3.5 liter six-cylinder engine delivering 282 hp, combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and it was able to do the 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, while it had a top speed of 245 km/h.

It had a large body, double exhaust tailpipes, 15 inch alloy wheels and M5 badges. Between 1985 and 1988 just 2,191 units were built in total. In 1989 the car was succeeded by the E34 M5. At the moment an E28 M5 is a true collector’s item and their prices go over €50,000.
