The BMW Z1 is one of those cars, that has a design that you either love or hate. It was equipped with the 2.5 liter six-cylinder engine producing 170 hp, that was also used on the 325i of the E30 3 Series. The engine was combined with a five-speed manual transmission that was sending the power to the rear wheels.
The car weighed just 1,250 kg and it could do the 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The BMW Z1 was produced from 1988 until 1991 and its best feature were the doors that opened by “hiding” in its body.
