The BMW 5-Series E34 is a car that everybody likes, with its fastest version, the M5 being in the wish list of almost every petrolhead.
The M5 E34 was equipped with a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder engine that produced 311 hp. At the time that the M5 was presented, Hartge presented its own version, which was equipped with a V12 engine, derived from the E32.
The layout of the E34 is similar to that of the E32 and therefore, the new engine could fit perfectly in the engine bay of the E34. The engine was modified, it had a new program on its ECU and the car had also a new exhaust. With all these changes, the engine could produce 480 hp with 620 Nm of torque, that enabled the car to do the 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and the 0-200 km/h in 13 seconds, with its top speed being 324 km/h.
The car had an upgraded 5-speed gearbox with a racing clutch and a ZF differential. It also had a Bilstein suspension, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new side skirts and new BBS wheels.
