In 2012 Mitsubishi presented the Eclipse SE, the last version of the Eclipse. The car was available as a coupe and a convertible and it featured black side mirrors and 18 inch rims, while the interior featured leather heated seats and an entertainment system of 650 Watt.
It was available with two engines, a 2.4 liter producing 164 hp with 219 Nm of torque and a 3.8 liter V6 producing 269 hp with 355 Nm torque.
