The CEO of Audi, Rupert Stadler said that the company is focusing on producing more SUV models. Stadler in a recent interview said that the Prologue Avant concept will not go into production, since there is not much demand, that would justify the production of the car.
The company is currently concentrating on the Q1 which will be presented in 2016. Audi estimates that in 5-10 years, 50% of the cars they sell will be SUVs, while they are also preparing the Q8 for 2019 and an electric SUV for 2018.
