Chevrolet announced that the new Camaro ZL1 has a top speed of 198 mph, which makes it the fastest Camaro that has ever been produced. The car is equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 650 hp with 882 Nm of torque, that enable it to do the 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds with an exit speed of 126 mph.
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 costs around $60,000 and it can do the 0-60 mph only with the first gear. It has a Magnetic Ride suspension and it can be combined with either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or a 10-speed automatic. It features Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, an electronically controlled rear limited-slip differential and it has managed to lap the Nurburgring in 7:26.60.
