Chevrolet in collaboration with the motocross driver Ricky Carmichael will be presenting at this year’s SEMA, which opens its gates tomorrow, the Colorado Performance concept.
The midsize pickup has an extension at the back door, to secure the motorcyles, the mechanism is specially designed and can tie surf boards, kayaks, bikes etc., while it does not disturb in the placement of other items such as sleeping bags and tends.
The concept is based on the 2015 Colorado and it is painted in a matte gray color, with shiny silver and yellow details. It features graphics with the signing of the 34-year old American rider, while it steps on 17 inch wheels that have yellow details, with Goodyear off-road tires.
Mechanically the Chevrolet Colorado Performance concept is equipped with the standard 3.6 liter V6 engine producing 305 hp and 364 Nm of torque, with the unique addition to be the sports exhaust system available in the extra equipment.
