The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is perfect mechanically and the main reason for that is its powerplant, the 6.2 liter supercharged LT4 V8 engine that produces 650 hp and 881 Nm of torque. According to GM, 619 Nm are produced from idle while 96% of the maximum torque (847 Nm), is produced at 2,800 rpm. GM is offering the engine of the car as a crate engine, with its price being $15,625.
