Chevrolet released the first teaser image for the new Malibu, which will make its debut at the New York auto show in April.
The model, will be based on a completely new platform with a longer wheelbase, which means that it will offer a bigger interior.
Thanks to the new architecture and lightweight materials used, the 2016 Malibu is expected to weigh 136 kilos less than the model it replaces.
