The Datsun 240Z, or commonly known as the Fairlady is undoubtedly one of the best Japanese cars of the ’70s.

The design criteria of the 240Z were four: style, speed, technology and price. Eventually two cars were born: one for Japan, the Fairlady Z 2 liter and the American version, the 240Z with an engine of 2.4 liters.

In October of 1969 the first Datsun Fairlady appeared in the US, equipped with a 2.4 liter engine producing 150hp. The power was transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox.

This 1973 240Z that you see in the photo is up for sale on eBay, it has traveled only 110,000 km and it is in perfect condition, being painted its in an Avocado Green color, having a coffee (butterscotch) interior. Currently its highest bid is at $14,100.
