DC Avanti, the first supercar from India, will be available to the public from mid-May. According to the company, more than $15 million have been spent on this project and during its testing phase the car has traveled approximately 600,000 km on all roads of the country.

It will be manufactured in a new plant in the city of Sanand, with the company stating that they already have 700 orders to date for the car.
The Indian supercar will cost 3,5 million Rupees (approximately $55,000). It has an aluminum chassis with a polyester body and it is equipped with a 2 liter four-cylinder turbo engine of Renault, producing 180 hp at 5,500 rpm, sending the power to the rear axle via a six-speed manual gearbox.
