Delphi, the known parts supplier, wanting to prove that the autonomous technology of today is quite effective, has configured an Audi SQ5 that will travel by itself from San Francisco to New York.

The trip will start on 22 of the month and inside the car will be a few engineers and a “driver” so that the car can arrive in New York, where the next big car exhibition will be held.
This SQ5 is one of the four modified automatic cars of Delphi that has been equipped with an array of sensors such as the LIDAR, communication ability between cars and of course a supercomputer capable of processing 2 terabytes of data collected during the trip.
