Renault has officially presented the new generation of the Megane at the Frankfurt motor show. The fourth generation of the Megane is lower than the model it replaces, while its wheelbase has been increased by 28 mm.

Initially, the new Megane will be offered with a range of 6 gasoline and diesel engines, between which we find three TCe petrol engines that produce from 130 to 205 hp and three diesel dCi engines producing 90, 110 and 130 hp.
The model has a different design, with the front of the vehicle having several design elements in common with the new Talisman. Its interior features a 7 inch touch screen and a digital instrument panel.
Renault has announced that the new Megane will be offered also in a GT version that will have 18 inch wheels, a blue color, dark metallic decorations on the front and side mirrors, dual exhaust tailpipes and a diffuser.
The sales of the new Megane are scheduled to begin in Europe in early 2016.
