General Motors is recalling 686.287 SUV cars that are based on the Lambda platform, because of a problem in the electrical mechanism of the tailgate.

The affected cars are the Buick Enclave built from 2008 to 2012, the Chevrolet Traverse constructed from 2009 to 2012, the GMC Acadia built from 2007 to 2012 and the Saturn Outlook constructed from 2007 to 2010.
The damage can cause the dust or dirt to get into a part of that holds up the door and cause in this section a premature failure.
