Kia GT4 Stinger Concept at Detroit

Kia presented the GT4 Stinger Concept at Detroit. The sporty 2 +2 coupe prototype of Kia is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0 liter T-GDI rendering engine producing 315 hp, which will be combined with a 6 speed manual transmission with short relationships that sends power to the rear wheels.

Designed by Kia’s designers in America it has a “tiger nose” it features LED lights, ventilated hood and dual tailpipes.

It is based on a custom chassis with double wishbones at all four edges and the brakes consist of Brembo Gran Tourismo engravings discs with four-piston calipers of the same company. The alloy wheels measure 20 inches in diameter with Pirelli P Zero  tires measuring 275/35.

It is painted in Ignition Yellow color and has a length of 4.31 meters, width of 1.89 meters, length of 1.25 meters and a wheelbase of 2.62 meters. It weighs 1,303 kg, having a weight ratio of 52% front and 48% rear.

Inside there are sports bucket seats with black leather trim and yellow stitching, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, red LED backlight, decorative metalic objects and aluminium pedals.

It is not known yet if the car will make it to production. However this prototype, may be the predecessor of a rear-wheel drive coupe car from Kia.
