The deadline that the team of Marussia had, to find a buyer ended yesterday and with it the hopes of any future for Marussia in Formula 1, the administrator of the team, Geoff Rowley, the last few weeks, said:
Obviously it is very sad that a company with so many followers in the British, and World Wide motorsport, had to cease racing. While the team made significant progress during the relatively short period of operation, a group of F1 requires significant and continuous investment.
Unfortunately, no solution was found that could allow the company to continue. The joint administrators will continue with their legal obligations and will allocate the assets of the business, in the best way for the interests of all creditors.
