Mercedes has given the official photos and details of the C-Class Estate. The wagon version of the new C-Class has a length of 4.702 mm, 96 mm more than the previous generation , the wheelbase reaches to 2.840 mm being larger by 80 mm. The available length for rear legroom has grown by 45 mm, while the width of the car has increased by 40 mm (1.810 mm). The boot starts from 490 liters and can reach up to 1,510 by folding the electrically folding rear backrests in proportion 40:20:40. Mercedes-Benz mentions that only the front part is the same as in the C-Class Sedan since the design of the middle and rear pillar is different.

It weighs 65 pounds less and it can optionally be equipped with an automatic Airmatic air suspension and mechanical it will be available with the same engine range as the C-Class sedan with the power to be sent to either the front or all wheels. The petrol engines will produce from 156 to 333 hp, while the diesel ones from 115 to 204 hp. There are also two hybrid versions, the C300 BlueTEC HYBRID, which combines a 204 hp engine and a 27 hp electric motor and the C350 BlueTEC HYBRID , which combines a 211 hp engine and an electric motor of 68 hp. Sales will begin in September.
