Mercedes-Benz presented the “Edition 1” version of the new V-Class. This special edition is based on the V250 BlueTEC. It will be equipped with a four-cylinder 2.1 -liter turbodiesel engine producing 190 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The power passes to the wheels via a 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission. The car features as standard equipment, 19 inch alloy wheels and a sport suspension, with the sport suspension with the Agility Control being available at the extra equipment.
The Mercedes V-Class Edition 1 is equipped with new mats, tinted rear windows, Nappa leather upholstery and decorative faux wood. The dashboard is also lined with leather and contrasting stitching and of course there are “Edition 1” badges at various points. The front seats are ventilated and there is o Thermotronic automatic climate control for front and Tempmatic semi – automatic climate control for the rear. Finally, the Edition 1 V-Class features a premium sound system, the COMAND Online system, electric sliding doors and various other systems and security packages.
The price has not been announced yet but given that the V-Class starts at 42.900 €, the Edition 1 will be probably more expensive.
