The marketing department of Mercedes chose a very interesting way to promote the renewed SL-Class, covering it with latex. The Japanese designer Atsuko Kudo in order to promote the car and the fashion season of autumn and winter applied on an SL blue latex.

The photo shoot was done by the American photographer Jeff Bark in Miami, with the location to be chosen to highlight the contrast between the soft lines of the car and its surroundings.
Mercedes-Benz unveiled the updated SL-Class at the Los Angeles auto show. The car has new LED lights, a new grille, a new front bumper with large air intakes, new rear light clusters, a newly designed diffuser and new chrome tailpipes with the top SL AMG 63 having a different grille, carbon decorations and new wheels.
