MG presented the renewed MG6. The car features slightly redesigned lights front and rear, LED daytime running lights, new grille which hosts the larger company logo, redesigned rear bumper and rear luggage cover. The interior has higher quality materials and a new electric parking brake and infotainment system.
Mechanical changes are not expected, so the MG6 facelift will be available with a 1.8 liter turbo gasoline engine producing 160 hp and a four-cylinder 1.9 liter turbodiesel DTi-TECH engine, which is manufactured by SAIC, delivering 148 hp and 350 Nm of torque combined with a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The last engine helps the car do the 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds, having a top speed of 193 km/h and an average consumption of 5.3 liters/100 km and 139 g/km emissions of CO2.
