Nissan Qashqai-R with a GT-R engine

Severn Valley Motorsport had presented in 2014 the Qashqai-R project, while In the past the same company had built a Nissan Navara that was equipped with a GT-R engine, which delivered 800 hp.

The British company, however, managed to finish the Qashqai-R project, that now delivers 1,500 hp! All the mechanical parts including the suspension geometry are exactly as the ones of the GT-R. The Qashqai has a roll cage and many interior parts that were taken from the GT-R.

The Qashqai-R of SVM now wears two fuel pumps from a Bugatti Veyron, double GT35 turbos of Garrett, it has an exhaust with a diameter of 102 mm, Dixcel brakes and coilover shock absorbers of KW.

The gearbox has had several improvements, with the car being able to do the quarter-mile in just 9.1 seconds, with its top speed reaching 357 km/h in just 1.6 km. The crossover has even beaten a Bugatti Veyron in a previous VMax 200 event!
