Toyota at the 1969 Tokyo auto show had presented the EX-III. An elegant coupe car, designed in Japan. The car was the development of the EX-I and EX-II, however it was designed to be able cover greater distances at greater speeds.
The car had an aerodynamic body, a long bonnet, large exhausts and a front angular design, with its front lights to be incorporated on the front part, having also an angular design.
