The Panoz Esperante GTR1, is the homologation version of the racing model with which, the company participated in 1998 in the 24-hour race of Le Mans. Its chassis is carbon monocoque, while its body is made of carbon. It is equipped with a 6 liter V8 engine producing 600 hp, while it weighs just 1,150 kg, with its top speed reaching 360 km/h.
