Peugeot presented the renewed Exalt concept, for the first time to the European public. The European version of the Exalt Concept we saw at the Paris exhibition last April, has a steel body, different shades of gray and an effective texture, called Shark Skin, inspired by the structure of a shark’s skin, with Peugeot to support that improves aerodynamics and average consumption.

The interior features “Newspaper Wood” made of recyclable pages of large daily newspapers, there are also leather and fabric, a wooden steering wheel, carbon decorations, digital dashboard and two folding touch screens, which are used for the operation of the information system and air conditioning.

The car has a length of 4.73 meters and a height of 1.31 meters, it weighs 1,700 kilos, and it stands on 20 inch rims. It is equipped with a Hybrid4 hybrid set consisting of 1.6 liter turbo THP engine from the RCZ R producing 270 hp with 330 Nm of torque and an electric motor of 50 kW. The first sends the power to the front axle, and the second to the rear. Together the total horsepower of the hybrid set is 340 hp, the set is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Peugeot has no plans to move the Exalt on to production.
