Renault has announced that the Clio RS 220 Trophy has become the fastest small hot hatch in the world at the circuit of Nurburgring. The French car completed a lap at the famous track in 8 minutes and 23 seconds.
The Clio RS 220 Trophy EDC is equipped with a 1.6 liter engine that delivers 220 hp at 6,250 rpm and 260 Nm of torque. Apart from the engine, the car has an upgraded transmission, that makes shifting, 40% faster, while it is also 20 millimeters lower at the front and 10 at the rear, with its suspensions being harder at the rear.
