Renault presented their new car, called Kwid, which is based on the CMF platform and it is developed in collaboration with Nissan. Its length is 3.68 meters and it has a ground clearance of 180 mm, while its design borrows elements from Dacia models.

The interior features a dashboard with a 7 inch touch screen, while the instrument panel is digital. The car is equipped with an 0.8 liter gasoline engine, combined with a new 5-speed manual transmission. Renault has not announced the technical characteristics of the engine, neither the exact figures for fuel consumption, but they say that the car will have a low consumption.
The car will be available in India, Russia, Brazil and China, but Renault said that it will not be available in Europe.
