Rezvani presented officially the Beast Alpha, their new model that features “Sidewinder” doors, that open by sliding outwards and straight, with the company saying that they “provide ideal room for entry and exit along with incomparable style”.
The car is not based on the Ariel Atom’s chassis, as the convertible model, but it has a monocoque aluminium chassis of Lotus. It is equipped with a 2.4-liter Honda engine, that has new camshafts, stronger pistons and a new cylinder head, so that it can deliver 500 hp. The Beast Alpha weighs just 885 kilograms, with its body being made from carbon. It is able to accelerate from zero to 96 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with its top speed reaching 282 km/h.
Its interior features air conditioning, electric windows, leather/Alcantara upholstery, airbags and an infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its price starts from $200,000 with Rezvani having already started to take orders.
