According to rumors BMW is preparing the i5 which will be larger than the 3-Series, it will be available either as a pure electric car or as a hybrid and it will be launched in 2019.
The pure electric version will be equipped with two electric motors, with one of them to drive the front wheels and deliver 135 hp and the other one to drive the rear wheel and deliver 225 hp. The hybrid version will be equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, that produces over 250 hp, mounted on the rear of the car.
