The huge sinkhole of 9 meters (depth), caused big damage at the 8 Chevrolet Corvette models that it “swallowed”, but the Corvette ZR1 of 2009 is like new again, after some restoration.

Some of the Corvette that fell in the hole of the museum may not be reconstructed because of the extensive damage, but the Blue Devil ZR1 damages were small, so it was easy to find parts, for it to be restored.

The museum has kept the Corvette hole open until last September due to increased visits, but they decided to close it, with repair costs close to $3.2 million.
