BMW is testing the new BMW series 7 at Nürburgring. The car will be presented at Frankfurt in September 2015 and it will be built on the new platform 35up. This platform will make use of carbon, aluminum and high-strength steel, the body of the 7 series, also has parts of carbon. It weighs 200 kilos less than its predecessor and it will be equipped with a range of petrol and diesel engines with a capacity of 2-6 liters. It will be available also in an M version to compete with the S63 AMG and S65 AMG.
