BMW presented some days ago the BMW Z4 concept, at Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance, with the German company to continue the testing of the production version of the model on the track of Nurburgring. The new Z4 will have a soft top roof, which will be kept behind the passengers.
The lighter camouflage of the car reveals enough of the components of the front part where the “kidneys” of the mask are quite wide. We can also distinguish air intakes in the front bumper.
The profile of the car has wavy lines, overall it seems that the new Z4 will differ from the expressive design of the previous generation and it will have a totally new look.
The production version of the car has been codenamed G29 and it is developed in collaboration with Toyota. The new Z4 is expected to be released three months after the new 8 Series, towards the end of 2018. It will be available with 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter gasoline engines that will be paired with both manual and automatic transmissions.
