Chevrolet continues its development tests of the new generation of the Camaro. The car will be built on the long version of the Alpha platform of GM, the same one used for the Cadillac CTS. This means that the wheelbase will be about 5.8 mm longer, reaching 2.9 meters and the car will also be several kilos lighter.
Mechanical rumors say that the car will be available with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with a horsepower close to 272 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The manufacturing of the car will be done at the GM plant in Lansing Grand River.
