Spy video of the BMW M5 F90 at Nurburgring

BMW is preparing to present the new generation of the 5 Series in January and currently they are testing the M5. The car is expected to be presented in 2018, with the German company testing the sport sedan these days in Nurburgring, to further improve its characteristics.

The car has as its main competitors the Mercedes E63 AMG and the Audi RS6. It will be equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine, producing over 600 hp.

The following video shows that the engine of the car sounds much better than before. The car uses the new CLAR platform and it is expected to be 180 kilos lighter. It’s engine will be combined with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and it will be offered with rear-wheel drive and also with four-wheel drive.
