Audi has chosen their factory in Brussels, to build the Q6. The production version of the e-tron quattro concept, that was presented at the Frankfurt auto show, will be released in 2018.
The e-tron quattro concept borrows technology from the R8 e-tron and it has three electric motors, one on the front axle and two on the rear, powered by a Lithium Ion battery, which is placed below the passenger compartment between the two axles. This option provides a low center of gravity and a balanced axle load distribution, which translates to better dynamics in comparison with other vehicles of its category. The electric motors produce a total of 435 hp with 800 Nm torque, that enable the car to do the 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, having a top speed electronically limited to 210 km/h.
