Chevrolet teasing the new Camaro, which will be presented on May 16. The company presented a photo of the engine, which is a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 producing 460 hp, while they also released a photo of the exhaust tailpipes of the car.
The new Camaro will weigh at least 90 kilos less than the fifth generation and it will be built on the Alpha platform of GM, which is used by the Cadillac CTS
The new Camaro will be “a really new car, from the grille to the rear” with 70% of its parts being new. Apart from the V6 and V8 6,2 liter engines, the car will also be available with a two liter, four-cylinder engine that will yield close to 280 hp, to compete with the Mustang Ecoboost.
