Audi is preparing the new A6, which will borrow design elements from the Prologue concept that wa presented at the Los Angeles auto show.
Marc Lichte, the chief designer of Audi, said that the Prologue concept was designed after the A6 and A7, to be relevant with the future design language of the company.
The new Audi A6, will be launched on the market in July of 2017, with the Avant and Allroad versions to be presented in March of 2018. The new A6 will have a semi-autonomous driving systems for speeds of up to 60 km/h and an air suspension that will collaborate with cameras and a radar that will sweep the road and adjust the suspension accordingly.
It will be available with TFSI and TDI engines, the entry-level model will be equipped with to a 2 liter TFSI, while the top model will be equipped with a 4 liter V8 TDI producing over 400 hp, the model will also have a plug-in hybrid version that will combine a 2 liter TFSI and an electric motor of 90 kW (122 hp).
