Volvo has partnered with Polestar since 1996, but apparently decided now it’s time for this cooperation to pass to the next stage. So they bought the company. The two companies collaborated first in motorsports. In recent years, however, the expertise of Polestar has been used on special version of Volvo models, with Volvo wanting to sell about 750 S60 and V60 Polestar worldwide in 2015.
