The students of the Department of Applied Sciences of Metropolia University of Helsinki, in collaboration with UPM presented in Geneva the Biofore Concept, an environmentally friendly concept car.
The car has an aerodynamic design, doors that open upwards and it is made of wood and biosynthetic thermoformable panels, making the prototype weights 150 likes less than how much it would weigh if traditional materials were used.
It is equipped with a 1.2 liter diesel engine which uses biodiesel made from wood.
