Local Motors presented the Project Redacted, which according to the company, is a handy car that is also inexpensive, because it is 3D printed.
The idea behind the Project Redacted, is simple. A 3D-printed chassis is used as a base, while the bodywork can be altered according to the wishes of the driver. Local Motors, for example, chose to present the Redacted Swim and Redacted Sport. The first is essentially a versatile buggy while the second, is a sport coupe with a removable hardtop.
