Lotus, unveiled the Exige Sport 350, which weighs only 1,125 kilos and it features a new lighter battery and new bases for the engine. The car also has better sound absorbing materials, as well as a lighter air conditioning system.
It is equipped with a supercharged 3.5 liter V6 engine producing 345 hp and 400 Nm of torque, that enable it to do the 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while its top speed reaches 274 km/h.
Lotus engineers have also equipped the car with tighter shock absorbers and they changed their geometry to improve the handling of the car and to make the steering more responsive. The additional equipment, includes lightweight forged aluminum wheels that reduce the weight by 5 extra kilos and drilled ventilated discs that also reduce the weight by the same amount of kilos.
