At Los Angeles and Tokyo , Mercedes-Benz will present the S65 AMG, which has minor styling changes compared to the S63 AMG.
It is equipped with a V12 6,0- liter biturbo engine producing 630 bhp at 4800-5400 rpm and 1.000 Nm of torque between 2,300 to 4,300 rpm , combined with the 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission with Start/Stop system that allows the car to do 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds , with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h . It has an average fuel consumption of 11.9 L/100 km and it emits 279 g/km of CO2.
The S65 AMG is equipped with the Road Surface Scan system which uses a camera mounted in the windshield, which scans the road and changes the suspension settings automatically , either individually or all wheels within fractions of seconds.
The car features 20 inch rims with tires measuring 225/40 front and 285/35 rear . In additional equipment you can find ceramic brakes with discs of 420 mm, weighing 20% less from previous brakes.
The engine cover is made of carbon, with the lithium battery saving to 20 kilos of weight . Inside we find Nappa leather upholstery(Exclusive nappa and sports seats are in the additional equipment ) . Sales will begin in Germany from March 2014 with an initial price of € 232.050.
